Dwelling In Darkness!

By Maada K. M’boma

People celebrated when things are in the right direction, but cry when things are going bad. Where do we go from here to make ends meet? Do we need to cry or to examine ourselves to know what went well and wrong? Yes we need to do total evaluation to know and make the necessary correction, and face real life situation, making the world meaningful.

We started the brotherhood, and we must end as a family. The need for transparency and accountability is paramount; it takes the centre stage, if we were to succeed in all we do.   Transparency and accountability makes the beginning of a character in every moral dispensation. You are made to serve and to serve with the best of your ability making your country a better place

The world is good, but we make the world what it is today.  The gold and diamonds we converted into good use, making humanity the worth of life.  In the case wherein there is no diamond, no gold, what do we do to make life meet?  There are countries without gold and diamonds but yet they are strong in managing what they have.  Not every nation is blessed with the required resources, but with the little resources they have, they manage to make ends meet.  We cried because we lack, and we smile when things are right with us.  But when, then shall we be grateful?  We turn to God when we are need, and neglect the congregation when all seem to be well.

Some have talents, others have strength to work and produce.  In the world no two individuals are the same.  We quarrel to show our strength, we make peace to settle the scores.  But should we continue to quarrel, making life the most difficult?  No!  The quarrel must stop to make amends for peace and tranquillity to make life better.

The best revenge to take is to forget a wrong!  Paying little or no attention to one that has hurt you doesn’t mean you are a coward, but to keep trend of peace and tranquillity to make the world a better place is good for your own comfort.  In the same vein you have offended others and you have asked for their forgiveness, and you have been forgiven.

You are not perfect, and they are not perfect and you best revenge is to forget a wrong.  Yes indeed it is good to forgive but not easy to forget.  It is like being missed by a snake, and seeing an earthworm creates the fear in you.  Knowing his name doesn’t mean you know him.  Knowing you means, knowing must of your characters that constitute your life through several interactions with you.

Why then do you lie, when you should not?  You lied to save yourself or to save someone’s life from anguish, pain and distress.  There is no justification in telling lies, a lie is a lie!  It is good to be honest in all your dealings, and it is insignificant for one to be known a great liar.  A great liar is a snub in society. So, stop the lies and be good!

Learn to be productive and ask for assistance where necessary.  The assistant you receive is remarkable to your life’s history.  You help others to grow and to assist you in time of needs and difficulties.  Perhaps the one you help could not be your redeemer in time of trouble.  It is necessary to give a helping hand to save time, life and property.

All is vanity!  Today you are here and tomorrow paying the price of death in the grave.  You take nothing to the grave, leaving your entire world for others to use and misuse. Except in a dream, you cannot change the looks of things you left.

Then why the bustling and hustling to a world, that have no respect for humanity?  Wiping and gnashing of teeth becomes the order of the day in the world of vanity.  There is judgement? Yes there is judgement to the greed and the wicked! Where do you belong?  It is good to be nice and show forgiveness to all in the maintenance of peace and tranquillity. Be at peace and ask for no revenge to escape the woes of life, and to live in transcendental light.
